Once we’ve agreed on the direction, you’ll get a storyboard like this, with each scene matched to the lyric.

Once the storyboard is approved, we produce the scenes and edit them to your track, then refine the video with your feedback.

When we heard “Self-Aware,” we pictured a room that felt as unsettled as the thoughts in the song. The furniture sits on the walls, and familiar things stop making sense. We wanted the setting to show what it feels like to be stuck in your own head.

When we heard “If I Wrote You a Song,” we pictured her in a letterpress shop, working out what she wanted to say. Choosing the type and printing the words felt like a way to show the care that goes into writing something for someone you love.

Listening to “I Won’t Chase You,” we pictured her on a late-night train, leaving but still thinking about the relationship. We chose 2D animation because we wanted it to feel like a memory. The empty seats and views from above bring out how alone she feels.
